Maintaining Your Alarm System

Keep your burglar alarm system properly maintained for when you need it most. Our skilled engineers are experienced in a wide range of intruder alarm systems and can service most professional alarm systems.
We're available to check your alarm each year keeping it in tip-top condition and for callouts and advice whenever needed. 
All work is to EN Grade 2 standard and is insurance approved.

  • What You Get:

    An alarm service will include the following, where applicable:


    • Visual inspection of all the alarm components, detectors, sounders (internal and external) cabling and fixings for signs of damage and deterioration
    • Check when intruder alarm system was last serviced and what was done
    • Check mains supply to the alarm and the correct fuse
    • Check the condition and age of the batteries and replace where necessary
    • Check charging rate of standby battery and power supply
    • Confirm all panic buttons and other manually operated devices function correctly
    • Perform a walk test to confirm all detectors are in working order
    • Check all audible warning devices, sounders, siren, speakers etc. internal and external
    • Check external strobe light operating correctly
    • Test telephone signaling system 
    • Reset user intruder alarm access codes
    • Reset telephone numbers in the alarm system
    • Instruction how to operate the intruder alarm system

Charges

We charge a fixed fee to visit plus any parts, if needed.

We can take over your alarm from another company for a service fee and then you can either PAYG each year or join a PPM plan for just £8 per month.

£120 Plus parts

You can pay-as-you-go for £120 each year or spread the cost and get a preventative planned maintenance (PPM) plan from just £10 per month with our Gold Plan..

We love to repair alarm systems wherever possible. Our skilled engineers are experienced in a wide range of intruder alarm systems and can repair most professional alarm systems. 
We also offer an out of hours 24/7 emergency callout service if it can't wait. 
All work is to EN Grade 2 standard, parts guaranteed for 1 year and insurance approved.

Charges

We only charge a callout fee to visit, plus any parts if needed, 

There are two different callout charges depending on the time of the callout: 

Standard Callout - £120 Plus parts

If you need us to visit during normal working hours, that's between 8:00am and 5:00pm on working days, then it's charged at our standard callout rate.

Emergency Callout - £180 Plus parts

If it's an emergency and can't wait but it's outside normal working hours, that's between 5:00pm to 8:00am week days, on weekends and public holidays, then it's charged at the emergency callout rate.
